Dr. Michael McFarlane has been practicing in the Fox Valley for over 30 years. He started his private practice in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 1973 following his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency at Gundersen Clinic-Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He attend college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Michael McFarlane’s clinical interests include orthognathic and reconstructive surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, implant placement, dentoalveolar procedures, trauma, oral pathology and TMJ disorders.
He is on the medical staff at Aurora Hospital (Oshkosh), Mercy Medical Center, St. Agnes Hospital and Theda Clark Hospital.
Dr. Michael McFarlane is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Fond du Lac County Dental Society and Winnebago County Dental Society. He also holds memberships with American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, The Academy of Osseointegration and International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Michael McFarlane is also a past president of the Winnebago County Dental Society and past chief of dental staff at both Mercy Medical Center and Theda Clark.
